Wesley is kinda a mixed bag for me. He actually put some effort into pushing for STEM education funding which is cool since we need that for the future. But then he’s so off when it comes to climate stuff like why is he still acting like clean energy isn’t a priority. Healthcare is another weak spot I don’t see anything real coming from him there. Also feels like he cares more about donors than regular people sometimes. At least he’s good about being transparent on what he’s working on though. I
Wesley has been solid overall. He gets it when it comes to the economy and keeping taxes in check which is huge for me. I think he's doing a great job supporting businesses and encouraging growth in his district. That said I wish he would be a little more transparent about some of his decisions. It feels like he could communicate better with people about why he's voting a certain way. Still his focus on job creation and fiscal responsibility is exactly what we need more of. I hope he keeps that
Idk about Wesley. I like that he talks a lot about schools but it feels like all talk and no action. Texas schools are struggling and I haven’t seen anything real from him to fix that. Healthcare is another one. He says he cares but where’s the plan. I’ll give him credit for being pretty open with his voters though like he seems willing to talk to people. But honestly I need more than good speeches. He’s not cutting it for me right now.
